Daily Journal - March 1, 2006

later (3/1) - We had a nice lunch at Sweet Tomatoes in St.
Charles. In fact, we were the first ones in the door at 11 am. It
was good to see the girls! I copied some of the anniversary
pictures for Aunt Gladys. I'd never been there before and it's
really good. Lots and lots of veggies. I was in veggie heaven.
Too bad they don't have any straight balsamic vinegar. Next
time I go, I'll have to bring my own bottle plus a pinch of garlic
salt!! haha I'm still trying to finesse my way through this web
site labyrinth. It's just a little hard to add anything after the fact.
bye for now, djb P.S. I'll put the pictures we took at lunch down
below the other ones at the bottom of the page.
Wednesday - March 1, 2006 - Today is our 21st Anniversary.
That's hard to believe. I want to get some pictures in here. I
have a lot of re-arranging to do but I don't have time right now to
spend a couple of hours doing that, so I'll just put in some
pictures.
Joan is having her shoulder surgery today. Judy came in
yesterday. So, I'll try to find some pictures of all of them guys to
put in. I'm having lunch with Aunt Gladys, Erin and Sara, which
is why I have to put on my skedaddling shoes. see ya later, djb

Donna and Bob on Kauai March 1, 2004 at
the Sheraton - this is where we ate dinner
on the evening of our 19th anniversary.
We asked someone to take our picture -
probably our waiter.
View from the Sheraton - I like the palm trees and the ocean
view
Here's the view that we had as we ate breakfast at our hotel -
the Hyatt
Alan, Donna, Diane, Ron, Steve, Dennis, Howard
Bunch of Bergs
Erin, Aunt Gladys and Sara
Aunt Gladys with her girly cane and
a close-up of the cane
Note to Erin: Guess what? When you said that my camera
was really quiet when you took my picture with Aunt Gladys and
Sara, it was realllllllllly quiet because there wasn't a picture of
me with the ladies. I had to laugh at that. Hope you had an
uneventful drive back home and to school. see ya later, djb
P.S. And thanks for lunch! It was delicious and the company
was marvelous!!
